Projector FAQ

1. I'm not seeing a blue screen, but there is also no image projecting. 

-If your projector is ceiling mounted, check that the lens cap is not attached
-If your projector is floor mounted, check that the protective film has been removed from the transparent front plate of the floor enclosure. You typically need a sharp edge to get it started.  

2. How far does the drop-mount extend for ceiling mounted projectors?

-The drop-mount extends 24 inches. You do NOT need to have the projector physically beneath the enclosure edge. You can tilt the projector forward on the mount if needed, and adjust V keystone (Settings>Display>Geometric Correction)

3. Certain settings are greyed out, or won't change when I get into the projector settings menu

This can happen if:

A) You do not have a source connected. Make sure to connect your PC or iPad to the projector, and confirm that you can see that interface through the projector before adjusting settings

B) Geometric correction settings have been changed. If these settings are changed prior to Aspect Ratio, you may need to do a "Reset" at the bottom of the Display menu before you can set that option. 

4. How do I connect my iPad/Mac to my projector?

-Use an HDMI Multi-port adapter to connect your iPad to the projector via an HDMI cable

-Use a wireless solution to cast your iPad to the projector (This requires that you connect your SkyTrak is connected in Network Mode)
