Original SkyTrak USB Driver Installation

Please follow these instructions if your SkyTrak is not recognized via USB by Windows.

 

NOTE: These steps apply only to the original SkyTrak unit, not the SkyTrak+.

-Press the Windows Key on your keyboard

-Type "Device Manager" and press Enter

-Expand the Universal Serial Bus Devices category. Confirm that you see an item that matches the indicated adapter in this picture.If you do not see this, check the Universal Serial Bus Controllers Category as well.

If you do not see a device title to this effect, do not proceed with the remainder of these instructions. Try alternate cables or USB ports, and contact support.

-Open your File Explorer with the yellow folder icon at the bottom of your screen

-Click "This PC" on the left side

-Double Click the (C:) drive under Devices and Drives

-Double click programfiles (Not programfiles(x86))

-Double click SkyTrak, then Driver, then "Zadig for Windows Vista or Later"

-Double click Zadig 2.1.2.exe.

-Hover over "Options" and select "List All Devices"

-Choose the device that matches the Device Manager entry (Device Descriptor Request Failed) from the drop-down menu. and click "Install Driver".

Reopen Device Manager and confirm that there is an entry under Universal Serial Bus Devices that reads "RAPSODO Personal Launch Monitor".

Once confirmed, your device should sync in USB mode upon your next launch of the SkyTrak application.
