Creating a New Skytrak CRM Account for a GOLFTEC Center

Start by checking whether an account for the store already exists.

  1. Search by 'golftec' with the All SkyTrak filter and scan the results for the relevant center name or number.  GOLFTEC tested Skytraks in bays in 2016 so there may be an account for the store already.  They will also have one already if they previously had a Skytrak+ added to any of their bays.
  2. If no previous account exists, create one.  Old accounts may also need to be updated to match the standards below in demographic information.
  3. To add a new account, start by selecting the Add Customer button making sure All SkyTrak is still selected in the search filters to ensure you're adding a Skytrak customer and not a GOLFTEC customer.

Add the new customer with the following information:

  • Email: gtNNN@golftec.com where NNN is the 3 digit store number (use leading 0's if they have a single or double digit number)
  • First name: GOLFTEC
  • Last name: Center name (use spaces if the name has more than one word, not dashes or underscores)
  • Phone: 8774465383

 

Use the Save button to generate the new account with the information you entered.

 

Search for the center after creating them and open their profile to add the rest of the information.

 

Update their demographic information with the following:

  • Birthdate: 01/01/2000
  • Units: Yards
  • Where Heard: US "I don't know"
  • Company: GOLFTEC

 

 

* Username should be left as the email address.  Old accounts with GOLFTECNNN or other usernames should be updated to use the gtNNN@golftec.com email addresses instead.
