# How to Update SkyTrak

## This article describes the process for downloading the latest version of the SkyTrak application.

\*NOTE This process is only necessary if you are updating from version 4.X to version 5.0 or later. If you are already on a version later than 5.0, simply download the installer from [skytrakgolf.com/downloads](https://skytrakgolf.com/pages/downloads) and run the installer.

**1. Uninstall the currently downloaded version of the SkyTrak application.**

Select This PC (1) on the left hand side, you may need to scroll down before it appears.Then, double click your C Drive (2)

Locate the folder named "SkyTrak" and delete it.

**2. Installing version 5.X**

-Open a web browser and navigate to skytrakgolf.com ([Direct Link](https://skytrakgolf.com/pages/downloads))  
-Click "App Download" in the top right hand corner of the home page.  
-Select version 5 for Windows  
-Open File Explorer and click "downloads" on the left hand side  
-Double click the SkyTrak installer.

Microsoft may issue a prompt to the effect of  "An app on your PC needs the following Windows feature: .Net Framework 3.5 to run". Allow this action. This installer may take an especially long time to run, let it run its course. 

**If you are on iOS, search for SkyTrak in the app store. There will be a distinct application from SkyTrak Lite to download.**
