Direct Mode Not Connecting (MacOS)

1. Unable to connect to STPLUS/STMAX WiFi network

In most cases, when you get a message that says "Unable to connect to this Network" the network password is being entered incorrectly. 
STPLUS = skytrakplus (no space, no "C" in "skytrak")
STMAX = skytrakmax (no space, no "C" in"skytrak")

2. Make sure you have installed the SkyTrak application from the SkyTrak website, and not the app store.

If you have installed the app from the app store already, please uninstall the current version with these steps before reinstalling from the SkyTrak Website.

3. Ensure that the connection indicator says "Discovering"

If the connection indicator at the top right of the page says "Not Connected", you may need to update your MacOS version, and confirm that your Mac meets the minimum specification of an "M" series chip/processor.

4. Enable local network toggle

Use these steps to enable the Local Network permissions for the SkyTrak application. Ordinarily if this is the issue, you will see the connection indicator vacillate between "Connecting" and "Not Connected".
