6.x Manually Add Network

It is possible to manually add your network in the Network Setup Wizard in case your home network does not show up in the network scan.

1. Press "MANUALLY ADD NETWORK" on the right hand side of the screen.


*If you are using a SkyTrak+ or SkyTrak Max, it's unusual for your home network name to be missing from a list of networks unless there's an issue causing your unit to be unable to see your home network name specifically. Try pressing "Scan again" and check your physical proximity to your access point before manually adding your network. 

2.Enter your home network name and password. Choose "WPA2-AES" for your security type.

*The option "WPA2-AES" is not within the first four options in the menu, so you will need to scroll to see it.Using a different security type will cause the unit to be unable to connect. 

3. Click "Add Network". Your SkyTrak will then attempt to connect to the network you have chosen.
